Road Closure Notice
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14[1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Sarratt Road, Sarratt from its junction with Dimmocks Lane south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Solesbridge Lane, a distance of approximately 1250 metres, except for access.
The purpose of the Order is to enable utility maintenance works to take place. It is anticipated that the section of road will be closed between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm (Mondays to Fridays inclusive) for up to 3 days, sometime during the period 24 October 2011 and 26 October 2011, when signs are in place. An alternative signed route will be provided for traffic whilst the road closure is in place.
